I just wanted to "pull out" one of the statements posted by Briefing.com today about a comment made by Bank of America Securities on the chip-equipment sector.

<<13:30 ET Dow -14, Nasdaq +4, S&P -1.62: [BRIEFING.COM] More of the same with the indices holding near the unchanged mark... The Nasdaq, for its part, has spent the majority of its time today in positive territory despite a weak showing from a number of semiconductor-related companies... Latter have been under pressure amid concerns the group is overbought and a contention from Banc of America Securities that the current chip equipment rally is destined to stall out and retrace part of the gains from the bottom... Select gains among the big-cap components-- like Microsoft (MSFT 53.53 +0.42), Cisco (CSCO 11.21 +0.30) and Qualcomm (QCOM 34.32 +0.63)-- are helping the Nasdaq to keep its head above water... SOX -1.7%... NYSE Adv/Dec 1797/1342... Nasdaq Adv/Dec 1575/1488.>>
