IGIT, The reason there is doubt in my mind that they will ever realize the truth, is because their leaders, both religious, and political, keep the masses ignorant to the point they cannot learn for themselves. All they can do is believe what they are told by the leaders because of ignorance.

On the flip side of the coin, there are a number of Muslims that immigrated to America many years ago, and have gained much education in the process. They would not think of attacking us, or join in any Jihad, but like those of some other religions, they still worship in the way they grew up doing. I feel sure that is quite a dilemma for them.
