I have done it before. Clinton was on the right side of GATT and NAFTA, for example--- but it took the Republicans to get the stuff passed, the Democrats resisted. He was relatively cautious economically, with the exception of Clintoncare, although it was fortunate that some of his spending initiatives got shot down. Basically, a combination of Clinton's moderation and the Republican Congress kept the Reagan Revolution roughly on track......
