KB, I'm not sure what to think as I look at the DIA or INDU charts. When I look at them, they are flat-lining. I don't see a trend, up or down.

I tried to get a clearer picture with the hourly chart and all I see is a sideways market with a narrow trading range.

In my opinion, this is the worst environment to try and predict or anticipate forward guidance. I need a trend, one way or the other, to be useful.

We could be topping off, or we could be consolidating for a breakout. I'm not sure yet and the charts don't help me at this juncture.

I have no interest in this market and am patiently waiting to see if it's going to breakout or crash. Either way is fine with me, anything but this annoying flat-lining will do.

However, the weekly chart is showing a possible reversal pattern for the intermediate term. I would guess that we will know the direction of the trend by mid-week.
