Very good question, i'm not clear on the answer myself .... when they announce a prospective placement and it does NOT fill fairly promptly, they are required to put out a release to that effect, of this i'm fairly sure, but am unclear as to time period, i.e. how long they can wait before giving up and announcing failure of the financing ... this comes into play with the ngt.v thing, where the 900k financing announced 07 Oct did not fill .. which was good really, as that set up the subsequent resolution of management control issues, very much for the better imho
But we should know this stuff, for sure .... might be hard to dig through pages of the regulations, it wasn't so difficult on the VSE in its latter years, may be somewhat harder now with the Bay Street bozos in charge ... good question, i'm all ears for somebody with a proper answer .... got to run, much later, cheers all
[edit] - with the cdnx there was that bulletins page, where any placement was registered within a few hours as a matter of course, so in that way it was 'released' .... somehow i doubt that there is a requirement to issue a news release though, since it's already been sort of pre-announced, and then available in its details on the official sites [unless the TO worthies have blacked those out already] |
