He does try hard to be fair, and he's one of the most literate posters here, a pleasure to read even on the very rare occasions when I don't agree with him.
As to those in the hate crowd whose whole lives here on SI are negative, as with all such people, if you let yourself get sucked in by them, it can be very depressing. I fear that's what Neo did with jla. Jla used, two years or so ago, to occasionally post some interesting things, though he was generally so far right that his stuff was basically boringly predictable. But since I refused to let him suck me into the deal he was pushing, he's gotten totally bitter.
I'm amazed that he might actually be a lawyer, though. His thinking is so unlawerly, so incapable of rationality, that I really pity his clients if he really is a lawyer. |
