lawrence, you bring up valid points for selling Intel now. But, they can easily be counter-argued. Yes, Intel is selling at a historically high PE, but its projected growth rate is higher than its PE, thus you can argue that the mkt. is finally starting to realize this and adjusting accordingly.... Another point i want to make is that you said there was relatively little to look forward to for the rest of the year in the PC industry as compared to the past few years. i strongly disagree. Besides continuing growth on the Internet, business web sites, e-commerce, videoconferencing segments, there is also DVDs which will be a big hit in the consumer segment. But the biggest driver by far can be spelled in 3-letters: "PII". Starting next month, Intel will launch its media blitz on PII and these units will be selling in volumes in both retail/business mkt. segments. As you know, these PIIs will carry a much higher ASP. joey
