Thanks for the info, Byron. I have been reading your inputs for a few years and appreciate them.

I think VNWK will survive nicely. This was a good company until they got snookered into a terrible acquisition. It looked to me like the investment bankers talked the VNWK management into throwing away half their available capital. Andy Grove is right. There is a place for constructive paranoia in business.

In any case, VNWK management is now older and wiser. They have withstood the Concord/cisco attack and the disruption of a terrible acquisition. Now, they just need a little luck. Luck is more powerful than skill...
