It has been spelled out....or you are playing dumb. Where has it been spelled out? Me playing dumb? You didn't answer any of my questions. Or offer an outcome scenario of your own. If you don't have any expectations of how an apology would play out on the thread, why not just say so like Poet did? All I'm getting is what appears to be an insult. You haven't described any outcome beyond what I already acknowledged, which was Poet getting satisfaction and perhaps some warming towards CH from other posters. Who is playing dumb here? it considers admission of guilt and regret to be very significant as to how they will treat someone who has chosen to infract. Or were you implying that the apology would cause everyone to forgive CH and relationships would be back to where they were and the subject would no longer be a topic of discussion? You are either incredibly sheltered from the experiences of conflict and resolution Not at all. I'm a trained professional. But I'm unable to connect the dots between CH apologizing to Poet and restoration of the relationships between E and X or JLA and Neo, for example, or a healthy thread discussion about Iraq or university PC or some other favorite subject.
