That it would "change a lot" is not obvious AT ALL to you? A misunderstanding? OK, Karen.

Perhaps we just have a different sense of scope on this. Obviously, it would change a lot for Poet. An apology from CH is her ideal resolution. And you have said it would change somewhat for you in that you would treat CH differently. Which implies some change for CH, as well. But you have also just said it wouldn't affect your relationship with X or JLA. And you have no opinion on how it might change for the thread in general. So, if you want to call that "a lot," we have a simple misunderstanding.

Solon, this incident did a lot of damage to the thread and its participants. I mean A LOT. What percentage of that damage would be undone by this apology? I don't have a crystal ball, either. That's why I was soliciting conjecture from others. Some percentage, to be sure. But perhaps some collateral damage would ensue. Would the change be a net positive? For Poet it would be. Overall, I'm not sure. Hence, my question.

Sorry to have caused a stir with my question. Since I don't think there's a snowball's chance in the proverbial place of our ever finding out what would happen, I thought that speculation might be of some value.
