Those who would not accept such sincerity would naturally be addressed by Neo and others. Would X still call people names? Would others still call X names? I'm sure of it (almost). X is her own person (or letter, or whatever). She exists separate from CH, and as I have already said...people deserve neither praise nor condemnation from the actions of others. I'm sorry if I misinterpreted you. I honestly thought you were being intentional obtuse--I suppose because the "speculation" thing was received by me with a sense of bewilderment--perhaps because it is difficult for me to conceive of not being moved by sincerity and remorse. I don't "hate" Christopher" nor anyone on this thread. I think he is extremely bright. All of this "dehumanizing" nonsense about people not being "real" and such has caused a lot of distress, I think. SI is not some bloody space drama! It is just people sharing their thoughts and feelings publicly and privately and more intimately in many cases. so simple, really...
