I don't waste many hours.
What I do waste I waste as entertainment. I enjoy it more than I would enjoy a video game, and I enjoy it with about the same level of emotional involvement. That's not angry, that is just true. Defensive? Probably. But when you play in a potential nut house, defense is probably a good idea. The problems on this thread all arose from foolish confidences.
I don't expect anything from you, except what you do. And I really don't care. It is revealing to me what you do when you are dealing with someone who doesn't give you back what you want. You want to be "real" and "important", but you aren't to me. And if that makes you feel mistreated, and makes you feel you need to pound back, that is your problem, not mine, because I do not make it my problem. Whatever you do- name calling, discussion, friendly behavior- it's all grist for my mill.
I've no idea what "use" you think posting on SI serves, other than entertainment. I guess for people who have no other form of communication with the outside world, it could be their only way to talk to people. But other than that? What "use"? |
