Jay, do you have an opinion on Hu Jintao (incoming head of Communist party)? Some say he may be China's Gorbachev, others point out he was the point man for the suppression of the Tibetan uprising in the 80's. At first blush he seems the ultimate Sino-politico, cautious and loathe to draw attention to himself. Some say he may be window dressing with Jiang Zemin holding the real power. CD
