So now the task is to work on them to recognize their issues and be willing to apologize for them. You and Poet have each stated your ideal resolution. I can appreciate both positions. Your ideal resolution requires dispassionate analysis of the roles everyone played in this and across the board introspection resulting in some sort of mistakes-were-made consensus. Her ideal resolution requires that you set right the wrong you did to her. I don't see a way to reconcile the two.
