It's 5:30 AM and although I have been home for hours now I still cannot sleep. Tis with heavy heart I make Saturdays report. At 13:40 yesterday in the high sierras my beautiful eleven day old Jeep gave her life to save mine as I walked away from a twisted pile of blue steel with tears in my eyes but nary a scratch on my body. After 4 hours of driving and about ten minutes from my appointed rest stop I dozed at the wheel and at 65 MPH rolled her over. With each sickening ,brain jarring thud I waited .....wondering if I would survive the next one. Then in an eerie sort of way her door opened cleanly, seat belt unbuckled on order and with engine still humming and radio still playing oldies she died with dignity. <<because should one lose a Jeep, an insurance company will make good on the loss,>> Who ARE you ?
