Jay: You may have seen, but here's current Roach on China:

Seems as though your offering will stay in demand as US and other nations' "manufacturers" must go prospecting for prices that may enable them to stay profitable (or just in business) a while longer. Then their know-how will be absorbed and they will be challenged to justify their supplier/vendor position by delivering a better value proposition. If the entire range of Western suppliers/vendors will be importing deflation from China for the foreseeable future, it would seem a good time to be offering to lubricate the business/cultural interface. Too bad I don't speak Mandarin.

That latest Richard Russell piece is grim enough to prompt the fleeting thought of going to a gold shop. But my (US) gov't will not hesitate to defend its scrip by banning the strongest competition. Hard to buy stuff with an illegal, confiscable, medium of exchange, all the more so when all too many fellow citizens will be ready to rat you out. Any more gloom and doom and I'll be thinking: land & vegetables.
