joint technical team to study possible cooperation in the
hydrocarbon sector, Oil Minister Abdullah bin Hamad al-Attiyah
said in remarks published by the Gulf Times Sunday.

The decision to set up the committee was taken after al-Attiyah met Fidel Castro Diaz-Balart, an advisor to the Cuban energy and industry minister, in Doha Saturday.
