Pro, rather than minding business in DC, GW has been campaigning nonstop for GOP Senate candidates in trouble. He is making the election about the need to have a Congress that shares his vision, such as it is. If the GOP wins the Senate, he can justifiably characterize it is an endorsement of his policies. If, however, despite of the tens of millions of dollars he has raised for GOP Senate candidates, and his non-stop campaigning for them in recent weeks, the GOP cannot take the Senate, then GW's decision to make this election about him will backfire in his face, and severely undermine his claim that the people side with him rather than the Dem Senate. We shall see.
