I agree. But there is one over-arching reason people leave one job for another--more money. Either these transferees couldn't cut the mustard at Iomega and thus are seeking any port in a storm, or the Edheads are willing to pay a premium to satisfy their Iomega-envy.

Another possibility is they're doing a unilateral "due diligence" of Syquest on behalf of Iomega. If I were Syquest I'd run polygraphs on these guys just to make sure who they're really working for.
