Falwell doesn't represent all Christians any more than Osama bin Laden represents all Muslims.

That is quite a twisted analogy. Falwell is a religious figure, OBL is a military leader. A better comparison to OBL would be Rumsfeld. A better comparison to Falwell would a radical Wahabbi cleric in Yemen.

Kind of like how the Christian faith has failed to condemn the Crusades? Kind of like how the American public has failed to condemn the unprovoked American attack on South Vietnam in the 1960s?

ROFLMAO! Freedom of speech and religion have now morphed into freedom from criticism? That puts your other commentary on the Constitution in proper perspective.
