"Republicans who were yellow-belly cowards, ran from service in Vietnam, while others died, are portraying themselves as ultra-patriots running against "Democrats soft on national security." The most brazen example of craven hypocrites is Saxby Chambliss, who got out of service in Vietnam because of an alleged bum knee, spent the war frolicking with coeds, and is now accusing Max Cleland, who lost three limbs in Vietnam, of being a weak link in protecting America. They ought to tar and feather Chambliss and run him out of Georgia on a rail.

The faux president, George W. Bush, is lying about Iraq, as pointed out in a Washington Post column by Dana Milbank, in order to scare Americans into war. His CIA director warns that we are in worse danger of terrorist attack than before September 11th (which raises the serious question, to say the least, of what the Bush Cartel has been doing to protect us the last year -- or, more appropriately what they haven't been doing to protect us.) And what is Dim Son doing? He is traveling around the country raising money for his cash-and-carry government, supporting Republican candidates in an effort to win the Senate and run the country like a dictatorship.

The entire Iraq War "Campaign" is really part of the November "Win Back the Senate" campaign. Andrew Card, Bush's chief of staff, explained that they couldn't "package the war" until after Bush returned from his August vacation. Karl Rove bragged earlier in the year that the Republicans would run this year's campaign on a war platform, in large part to keep all of the Bush Cartel failures from being campaign issues. The use of the threatened Iraq war to scare and distract American citizens is the most immoral act of any presidential administration in memory. Period.
BuzzFlash could go on and on about how the Republicans are, once again, trying to hammer a nail through the coffin of Democracy. If the Senate goes Republican, America will have all three branches of government under right wing control. It will be a Bush, Rehnquist, Lott, DeLay (Hastert is just the front guy) junta."
