Unlike JFK's cover-up, there are millions connected outside the normally-controlled media channels that will continue to prod Congress with facts and questions, starting immediately. The digital data is replicated and can't be easily destroyed. The only question for Bush & Co. is whether they can crank up random demonizations or enjoy sufficient level of terrorism to distract sufficient Americans from an impartial investigation. If not, the strategy will depend more on media control and the usual bribery of Congress. As well as using American's tax money to figure out the most clever ways lie to them, through the DOD's Office of Strategic Disinformation, et al.
