Could this be happening? Nortel and EMC are developing interface between Nortels MPEG2 video codec's (via NUKO) and EMC media storage. Product is close to release and has been shown via non-disclosure to Oracle who like the look of it. Microsoft may have also seen this product for Netshowpro. Oracle/EMC/Microsoft all premier video server players team up with Nortel to deliever end to end video solutions with NUKO's help? Cisco play as well, in order to compete with Nortels dominance in the wide area field they need a Video player and NUKO's codecs are 100% compatible with Nortels since they own them. Vyvx delopys NUKO codecs this year, along with EMC video servers (all announed). Oracle wish to play with NUKO (as we have scene) as they see the wisdom of working with the leading video infrastructure company -NORTEL. MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm God I'm bored, can't wait till Friday!!!!!. This is all personal ramblings based on rumour speculation and hours of reaserch. Regards Peter Smith
