major rec from major geeks.... i have been running SpyBot Search & Destroy for a couple of weeks, to supplement AdAware. it is an excellent addition, and does a little bit more than AdAware, as far as finding invalid registry entries and other items needing fixes. it was recommended to me by a dude on WindowsBBS site majorgeeks.com also.... a new version of NoAds (2002.10.23) is ready and available here for downloading southbaypc.com i was a bit frustrated in that a lot of pop ups seemed to be getting through "the defenses" recently, then i remembered to update the program. it's freeware, just like SpyBot. good luck :) mark
