It's all very simple. No one wants to take their medicine. They do everything in their power to delay it and hope that a modern-day faith healer will stumble upon them. Guess what? The only faith-healers today are psychotic or con-artists or worse. I just hope they merely pass out and go into a short-medium coma while the medicine is fed through the veins, because if they run away much longer, they will probably drop completely dead, and then, no amount of medicine will be worth taking.
