Bob,

Thanks for responding to my posting. My point is simply this....once you own a stock, and the situation changes, why not analyze the changing situation? This would surely include a buy-out as in the case of Ontk. After all, it may well be worthwhile to convert into the new stock. Also, Lam and Ontk are in the same industry, so it certainly in not a "stretch" to do an analysis of Lam and the risks/rewards that one would be exposed to by converting to Lam's stock.

I don't recall seeing any such analysis of the Lam/Ontk merger in Bob Sr's. newsletter...or did I miss something? All of Bob's Sr. comments were limited to Ontk and not the pros/cons of the buy-out.

Let's not overlook the fact that the "name of this game is to make money".
