lol..we may have been a bit ahead of our time with those conversations as you are sure hearing alot about failed ta these days....it must be frustrating if they have just been learning TA/trading over the past few years...i think many havent realized yet their journey has just begun....i think back to my university days and a professor who was to become a major influence in my life...being the perpetual smartass, i took him to task once on what i thought was a less than stellar grade...he peered at me, opened the undergraduate calendar and quoted the description of an "A".."an excellent effort where the student has gone beyond the given material in a critical and constructive manner"...

todays newbies are at this stage..they have learned basic TA, but this is no more than a "C" in the grade scale..they have go beyond the subject matter , they have to learn how the floor arbitragers construct their pivot points..they have to learn to determine junctures in the market where "players" actually take action...they have to incorporate valid stop methodologies and position sizing; in essence they have to develop a plan tailored to their own unique situation and then...sheesh..this is turning into rant..sorry....where the hell did that come from??...lol
