I interpret the above as a reference to the "conservative" posters on SI. No, I'm referring to the larger component of the GOP in saying conservative base. The millions that listen to Rush and believe he speaks something remotely related to truth. The ones that vote Republican no matter what's in front of their faces. This is a group that never sees [and will never see] a contradiction between the rhetoric and the actions. You can see it manifested on SI threads. But consider that it's likely that the SI posters are more educated than a random sampling of the US population, e.g., more university degrees. jttmab
