I remember that. X cannot afford to be vulnerable. It is safer to watch it on a movie.

I wonder how "free" such choices really are? Do we know what X endured in childhood in her own intrapsychic solitude? Some learn to build a causeway between minds. Others have intercourse with movies and "interact" with words. I don't think any of us are free to criticise how the twig is bent in others. Much of "maturing" is random luck and circumstance...
