Band-Ore Resources Ltd.: 1721 Diamonds Recovered From
'Rainbow Zone' Mini-Bulk Sampling To Commence

BURLINGTON, ONTARIO--Caustic fusion and diamond recovery
processing has now been completed by Kennecott on 7 recently
sampled outcrop (and/or mechanically stripped) areas of
heterolithic breccias (see press release dated September 25,
2002). Six of the seven new areas on the GQ property, located 20
km north of Wawa, Ontario, were found to be diamondiferous.

The most significant result is from a 54 kilogram saw-cut channel
sample taken from a new area called the "Rainbow Zone". A total
of 1721 diamonds were recovered, of which 21 diamonds measured
larger than 0.5 mm in two directions (diamonds which remained on
the 0.5 mm sieve). The majority of the diamonds recovered from
the Rainbow Zone are described as white octahedrons.

Another new area of heterolithic breccia, Area SE-F, returned 56
diamonds from a 40.7 kg channel sample including 3 diamonds of
which remained on the 0.5 mm screen. Two other significantly
diamondiferous areas include JR-27 and New-B. Channel samples
weighing 69 kg collected from JR-27 returned 25 diamonds, and 16
diamonds were recovered from a 50.6 kg sample from New-B. Several
channel samples remain to be processed.

Based on the encouraging diamond results received from the GQ
property, a program of mini-bulk sampling is scheduled to
commence immediately. Samples weighing 10 to 30 tonnes each will
be collected from different areas of diamondiferous heterolithic
breccia and will be processed by Kennecott using Dense Media
Separation (DMS). Detailed mapping and additional sampling will
be conducted in the new diamondiferous areas including the
Rainbow Zone.
