That may be the Cheney plan, but I like Clinton's better. He rightly recognised the roll of the federal government as protector of the people, so they could carry about their lives and business without constantly having to look over their shoulder. His pay as you go philosophy meant a real future for our grandchildren instead of the borrow and spend activities of the Reagan/Bush voodoo team.
