Archie, Austin is a great place with an excellent school. If you fold the
three middle fingers, only the thumb and pinky are sticking out resembling
longhorns. UTA die hards give this sign in place of making an "O" (forefinger
and thumb) to stress an "OK". I do not know if they are still doing this.

I see that you are a positive thinking person, therefore you are long.
Shorts hope for bad things to come. This country was built by Longs. Could
you imagine if the Shorts were the frontiers (this in itself is a
contradiction!).

I got carried away. This is IOMG forum and not just for the Longs. The Shorts
are welcome here; as matter of fact they contribute the other side of
the coin. Remember how the chat rooms get overoptimistic?

Now, my view of IOMG is now as follows:

1. You cannot stop a runaway train. By increasing the market share IOMG will
have to spend money. You cannot fish without a bait.
2. Guy Gordon contributed an excellent LS-120 analysis. Where is the UFO?
3. Competition from Syquest still exists although not that strong. Are you
aware that Apple Australia and SYQT have reached an OEM agreement where
Power MAc8500 and 9500 will be preconfigured with Syquest EZ135?
4. In a GOOD MANAGED COMPANY, increasing revenues will take care the bottom
line in the long run. 2Q/1996 IOMG sales were 5 times. That is comforting.

Archie, yes, you are a Gentleman and Scholar. Was very late last night.

Warmest regards,

A.L.
