it is in the nature of human beings to require some accountability as
part of feeling comfortable with one another in a social structure.

Gee. Why don't you tell this to Laz, jla, E, and the rest of the hate crowd. So far they don't seem to be interested in being held accountable for their actions.

You have not acepted the invitation from Poet (and many others) to acknowledge that you hurt her,

You aren't very good at remembering. I have several times accepted the invitation to a mutual recognition of wrongs. Where is your vitrol for others who are refusing to accept responsibility for their actions? It is that refusal which is interfering with an ability to resolve this matter and move on.

Or they could have accepted Neo's invitation to a reconciliation feast.

Or they could all have accepted the invitation offered many times to let the dead past bury its past and move forward.

But there are too many people, including sadly yourself, who prefer to look backward than forward, who prefer recrimination to reconciliation.

Oh well. Some day maybe you'll learn what it means to be human.
