Nadine - Why are you confused? The Economist is pretty clear and is by no means a confusing source. "Roads" and "territorial reach" are not incomprehensible words/phrases, imho.

"Sources unfriendly to the settlers"? Are you talking about The Economist, here? I did not realize The Economist was Palestine-friendly and settler-unfriendly. Can you explain?

I did a Google and found quite a few mention of these aerial photos. I don't have the time to continue but you should be able to find them if you search. Here's a UN link that mentions the said photos:
