Sell in-the-money calls for January, but not too deep that they would sell without premium. 140 strike ought to be good enough.

You get immediate cash, if there is a downslide and your stock is again at acceptable price, use that cash to buy back the calls for pennies on the dollar, (pay Uncle Sam for this).
Maybe more adverse tax consequences, best scenario would be if stock
consolidated just the strike and you get called.
Alternatively, short-against-the-box.
Either way you need a margin-type account.
Some risk however of getting stock called, check how much open interest in those with a closer strike date.
