That's why I used the word "seems" ! The market could go up or down here. The indicators that work for me make me tend to suspect that we have just topped for a while, or are at least very close to doing so. But I have been wrong in the past so could be wrong now. And as you suggest, I am a hurting short but I promise you I am not a bear in denial.
