How's this: Sometimes cops and prosecutors make mistakes. That doesn't make robbers and murderers right.

Of course not. If you think that's what I'm saying, then you're still stuck in your black/white rut and perhaps the window of opportunity that I thought I saw was a figment.

Two versions?

E used the word, facts. So I used it, too, but I put it in quotes. A couple of times I said "elements" or "factors." I don't know what the right word is. I'm not talking about two versions in the sense that there are competing facts. I'm finding the distinction murky myself and do I struggle a bit to stay on course. What I mean is that there is truth on both sides and it is singularly unhelpful for either side to think it has the monopoly and only their truths are true. Some examples:

Poet over-reacted AND CH should have stopped.

Poet's posse was over the top AND CH is one stubborn mother.

JLA is brutal AND X has been spouting some really inane blather.

CH really hurt Poet AND the posse contains a bunch of enablers and co-dependents.

Like I said, the window was probably a figment. I took a chance and it didn't work. Isn't be the first time...

Regarding your "best of" posts, I'd be happy to look at them if that's of value to you.
