There was a school walk out at East High School in Denver last week. The complaint was that the Principle was discontinuing the academic support program. I forget the name of it but it is the program where you can get help with homework and extra assistance. The walk out was massive. The students interviewed on channel nine news were very impressive. A little more digging.... oops. The program was foolishly scheduled during the first 1 1/2 hours of the morning. Only a fraction of the students were participating. The rest enjoyed some extra sack time. I take most walk out protests by High School Students with a grain of salt.
