Energold Update as of July 23--EGD is still waiting for the concession applications in the Dominican Republic to be approved by the gov't. The gov't has no mining regulations and is moving forward on plans to make a better framework for mining companies to work under, but it has been slow.

Mgmt is prudently bringing costs down now--there is no drilling (rainy season there) and our Dominican operations have been cut back until the concessions are granted.

$2 M in the bank now, good for more than a year working cap.

Other DR news: KWG and Falconbridge have been granted one concession, the Managua, and they reported trenching results of 5.2 g/t Au over 42 m. The buzz down there is they have some excellent drill results. We have some applications very close to them.
