Been catching up on your thread and thought this post by you related to Islam being a religion of compulsion might present an opportunity for you to help us non-muslims out with regard to Al-Taqiyya, or the practice of Dissimulation (hiding one's true beliefs to non-muslims).. CobaltBlue and I were looking at the topic and I posted some links written by a Shi'ite Muslim who condones the practice and says that Muhammed advocated it: Message 18198794 The question is.. just how pervasive do you believe this practice has become in Muslim cultures, and if it's extensive, any strategy you perceive as being a means of altering mindsets??
