Strange:
For the last month I've had a feeling we were right on the edge of something in this market. Each day seemed critical as to whether we recovered or travelled farther down the pipe..
At 2 AM the GOP seems to have got control of the Senate, with Mondale down by 5 pts.
Globex showing +1450, most foreign markets up 1 or 2 %
I am going to bet we've seen the worst, and if this market tanks will place the blame completely on Mr Greenspan and the Fed. Hasn't anyone told him that when he speaks the market goes down 8 times out of ten?.
Does Pres Bush have the power to tell him to merely cut or not cut and stop talking in public?.
Will the Fed banks tell their members to loosen up a bit, and let the stores have the loans necessary to stock goods for Christmas.? We as shareholders take risks, why can't the banks do the same just this once,
instead of making their everlasting guaranteed percentage profits off citizens money?

Historically the markets are poor in the first two years of an administration, much better in the next two.
Hope we are get moving in positive direction. I'll take that victory by the Angels as a sign. And Donnie going long means something.(g)
