I think the west has already proven that they do not consider the mislim side always wrong just because of the fact that the USA has on several occasions fought and lost lives on the side of muslims yet we over here were still attacked by muslim terrorists. Not for a moment do I believe that muslim conflicts around the world are due to foreign policies. I believe it is something much deeper than something that simple.

Agreed. But keep in mind that IRA,Basque,etc. are small and for the most part local and their goals are clear but islam is a world class political/religious organization with bloody conflicts ongoing in many countries. The political goals of islam should be very clear to us all now. It is in writing in their quran and for us to be politically correct as we have been taught to be and ignore
or intentionally overlook the danger to us only because islam is called a religion would be the biggest mistake we here in the west could ever make.

If you mean that islam is not the sole source of terrorism then of course I agree with this but at this time in our history islam is the biggest and most dangerous source of terrorism on earth and IMO this fact must not be ignored because it is a religion. There are something like 1.5 billion members of islam in the world and I wonder just how many are fanatics?

Agreed. And from what President Bush said he also agrees.
I can't of course remember his exact words but he implied that this war will not be the usual conventional type of war and may be ongoing for many years. The islam terrorist organization will have to somehow be taken out a bit at a time. I guess an example would be the missile attack that rid the earth of 5 or 6 members of bin ladin's group...Just a few days ago.

You know I really don't know, but what should the victims of terror attacks do how should they respond? should they just give in to terrorism? should they fight back and if so how? IMO giving in to terrorism would be conceding victory to the terrorist and when terrorists start to win as they are coming close to doing in Israel it will only cause more of the same for all of us. And by the way IMO the conflict in Israel is islam based.
If we over here enjoy the freedoms we have and think these things should be passed along to our Children,Grand Children,Great Grand Children etc. then we must stop islamic terrorism now. All terrorism must be stopped but the big threat is islam.
You have brought the arab/palestinian thing up here. Would you care to explain why. Also with all the billions and billions of dollars in aid that has been given to less advanced countries many of them islamic controlled countries....Why have most of these countries not taken advantage of a helping hand...where has the money gone...

I don't know if I represent the average person over here but if you have read some of the posts from me months ago you would have seen that I have always said that IMO one of the biggest causes of Islamic terrorism is poor education or complete lack of education in many muslim countries. My thinking being that it is mush earier to control poor uneducated masses of people than well educated
strong and free people.

I agree with you, But IMO the ignorance will be on the side of the millions and millions of uneducated peoples in the poorer countries of the world. people who are hungry, people with no future, people who can and are being easily controlled and manipulated by islamic terrorists organizations around the world.
Then of course you have the crazies who crashed passenger jets into the world trade center. These guys were not poor, they were I believe well educated...so why do what they did? IMO because they were islam religious nut cases who actually believed they would go to paradise and be rewarder for murder.
