Harmony pays 2 dividends a year. They call them an interim dividend and a final dividend. The fiscal year 2002 ended in June and the final dividend was 425 cents (R). The interim dividend for 2002 was 75 cents (R). So 500 cents (R) equals about $.505. Given a current share price of 14.17 we have about 3.6%.

I think starhawke is trying to look forward. Estimating that the next dividend (interim 2003) will be about the same as the final 2002 dividend. IE final 2002 was 425 plus interim 2003 will be 425 equals 850 cents (R) or $.858 or 6%.

Can you really guess the next interim dividend from the last final dividend? I have no idea...
