The rule of this thread will evolve over time but the the thread is moderated mainly to keep out endless personal wars , particularly ones that come from other threads. You get a fresh start here and will be judged on what you do on this thread not elsewhere. The exception to this is if you drag in wars from other threads. This thread was created in response to one particular war, and the participants know who I am talking about, and should understand that continuing this war here will not be tolerated. I am not trying to enforce the idea that everyone must be nice. Insults or even flame wars won't get you banned from the thread unless they go on long enough to become a problem for the thread. I am the one who determines when it becomes a problem, I'll listen to input and try to be as fair as possible but massive lobbying efforts and politicking won't make me change my final decision. I expect that I will not suspend or ban people to often. You won't get banned merely by disagreeing with me about politics or philosophy or some other topic that may be discussed here. Tim
