>>>KA, I always assume there is zero privacy on the net or on email. <<<

Probably prudent. I like to figure I am so unimportant that nobody cares about my business.

So far, the worst that's happened is one unrequested subscription to a porno site and a charge for some CDs in a bookstore in Moscow. Who knows who has shown which of my indiscreet emails to whom. No feedback so far. I figure if a woman is writing pornographic messages to me I am probably OK. The first time I did an AltaVista search on my own real name I was appalled at what could be found, though none of it was illegal. I guess I have instinctively learned to manipulate the search engines myself so that what comes up now is only what I want to be easily found.

Guess I'll know I am wrong when the FBI, a Mafia hit squad, a murderous boyfriend, or a blackmailer shows up at the front door.
