But now that you bring it up again religions all have some very stupid laws that their members are to live by. islam is the worst IMO islam seems to believe that allah created all things and allah don't make mistakes yet islam thinks that a pig is unclean to the point that any contact with a pig will prevent a muslim from entering paradise. So just how ignorant of reality would a person have to be to actually believe something this stupid. The western world has been programmed to live and let live when it comes to other religions, we have freedom of religion over here so there was no pressing reason for the west to make a study of islam. World wide islamic terrorism has given us in the west a reason to become less ignorant of the ways of islam and I think we in the west will become much less ignorant of ways islam long before the islamic world has an understanding of our way of life. islam still thinks a pig is unclean. So just how can any person actually in this day and age still believe this sort of stupidity. This is not disrespectful on my part, a lot of islam is very stupid and does not fit in the world to day. I'm sure you have read some of the things in the hadith? Think I read somewhere that the orginal reason for muslim to avoid pigs had more to do with some sort of desease associated with pork.
