In all fairness to the rest of the world: American culture doesn't just 'seep in'.. Our profit worshiping corporations work very hard to bring our culture to these new markets. If you take the average young male in a traditional culture, stick his face right in the Bay Watch babe's cleavage and then have her jiggle, you might just solicit some interest. That's not the same as saying that these traditional society masses just happen to gleam a bit of American culture on a display window TV on their once-a-year trip to the big city and fall in love with it. -pardon the ranting. Full disclosure: I was not born in the US.
