I believe ( and did before yesterday) that the only way Talent takes his seat is through a combination of Carnahan's credentials being challenged at the 'duck session, and a court order to the soon-to-be-former governor of Missouri. Perhaps, if the Republicans can convince the governor that he hasn't got a chance, he'll do his constitutional duty. But it's not obvious, yet, to McAuliffe/Clinton that their ways are what was massively rejected last night, and I expect they will ally with Traitor Tom Daschle to try to use this lame duck governor as a tool for one last assault on the American people. Only when the stench of McAuliffe/Clinton is washed off the Democratic party can they begin their long, long come back...
