Especially as I tried to spell out fairly directly that "the real guys" (although often the real girls at the end) design for breakdowns and overheating, even rusty connectors.

Except perfectly reliable connections and cords don't exist. Same problems occur around the world regardless of contact design or gauge of the power cord.

120v used in the US is a good compromise between safety and efficiency.

I still consider our power distribution, our Digital TV, and our CDMA standards to be superior to yours.
