I have to disagree with you. IMHO, the effect of previous Fed cuts brought us out of a mild recession and will probably keep us out of a double dip. What the Fed did today was make it even less attractive to keep money on the sidelines in MM or CDs.

The Real Estate bubble as you call it is more a regional issue vs. a National one. I question why mortgage rates are still high in real terms. Just think how the Real Estate market would boom with 4-5% 30 year fixed rates.
